Easy to use, good plan

Signed up for the 90 Day Plan. Workouts are clear and easy to follow. App works fine. No complaints. I'm happy with it.

Good value, some small app quirks

I got the annual subscription to The Body Coach App during their New Year Fitness Sale. The workouts are really good, especially the HIIT and Low Impact Exercises. The Recipe Library is a nice bonus too, though I haven't used it much. Delivery of the welcome email was instant, which was good. My main gripe is that sometimes the progress tracker is a bit clunky to update, and I wish there were more options for filtering workouts by equipment type. Overall, it's a solid platform for the price, but those little things could be smoother.

Consistent app, great workouts

I've been using The Body Coach app for about two years now, and I just renewed my annual subscription. I started with the 90 Day Plan and have transitioned through a few of the other programs. This time I'm trying out the Strength Training Programs. The quality of the workouts and the variety keeps me coming back. It's always reliable; I never have issues with the app crashing or videos buffering. My progress tracker also seems to sync well across my devices. It's just a solid platform that consistently delivers what I need for my fitness routine.

Got a good deal on the app

I was looking for a new fitness app and saw The Body Coach had an introductory offer for 25% off the annual plan. I also took advantage of the 7-day free trial first to make sure it was for me. The Personalized Meal Plans and Bodyweight Exercises have been great so far. It felt like a good deal for the price I paid, especially with the amount of content included. Worth the investment for what you get.

just wondering if the 90 Day Plan is really for total beginners? like, I haven't worked out in years, will I be able to keep up?

D Daniel Nguyen 3 weeks ago
Totally! I started with zero fitness and it eased me in. There are different levels and modifications for most exercises.

Yes, it's pretty good for beginners. They explain everything and you can go at your own pace. Don't worry about keeping up, just focus on you!

Anyone know if you can cast the workouts to your TV? My phone screen is tiny and I don't want to miss anything.

R Rachel Hall 2 weeks ago
Yep, you totally can! I cast mine to my smart TV all the time. Makes it way easier to follow along.

Yeah, most smart TVs or a Chromecast should work fine. I just airplay from my iPad. Super convenient.

Hey guys, thinking about signing up for The Body Coach. Does anyone know if they have any student discounts going on right now?

A Amber Jackson 1 week ago
Yeah, they usually do. I used one last year for my annual sub. Check their site, it's usually advertised there.

I think so! My friend got one a few months ago. You probably have to verify through some student portal thing, standard stuff.

What's the deal with promo codes? If I sign up through the app store later, can I still use one of those annual subscription codes?

S Sofia T. 1 month ago
Nah, pretty sure you gotta apply the code on their website BEFORE you subscribe through the app. Once it's in-app, it's a whole different system and codes don't usually work.

D Danielle Ramirez 1 month ago
Yeah, what they said. Get the code applied on the desktop site, then you can use the app fine. If you subscribe through Apple or Google, you'll probably miss out on the discount.

how does this compare to something like Freeletics or Beachbody? looking for something with good variety and not just endless cardio.

M Matt Rodriguez 3 days ago
The Body Coach has a good mix, definitely not just cardio. Lots of strength and bodyweight stuff, plus yoga. I found Freeletics a bit too intense sometimes.

I've done Beachbody and The Body Coach. TBC feels more personalized with the meal plans and has more low-impact options. Beachbody can be a bit repetitive after a while.
